How To Go Perfect With Pastels

NOW that summer’s almost here, can pastels be far behind! It’s a personal favorite and I simply can’t seem to look beyond the soothing and luscious effects it has on my style senses. From watermelon reds to powder blues, mellow yellows to pistachio greens, the colors offer themselves as good ingredients for that perfect work wear or for a dress to wear on a date.

The spring-summer runways were flooded with the sweet swirl of the pastels. Alberta Ferretti showed extremely modern silhouettes in colors of the seas and the sky; Burberry opted for faded yellows while Manish Malhotra added drama to his exquisite craftsmanship with a hint of sparkle on his creations.
