How to Wear: Oversized Tee

Are you still in love with oversized garments? Surprisingly, it is not necessary that all will suit your physic. Styletag brings you this list of amazing ways to wear an oversized t-shirt.

1. Deal with the Sleeves

No matter how you plan to wear your shirt, the chances are fair that you’ll have to adjust the sleeves. This is a tricky task to undertake: simply take scissors and trim the arms till they look a lot like the style you desire. However, unless you're eager to have that unfinished look, you’ll possibly have to attach a basic hem to neaten the edges.

2. As a Belted Tunic

This works best with t-shirts that are longer in length and not too broad from the shoulders. In case you have such tee that approximates this shape, just add a thin leather belt to label the shirt at the waist along with a pair of opaque leggings.

3. Off-Shoulder

Take scissors and cautiously cut your tee from the edge of one shoulder to the edge of the other. Take extra care to cut across the collar equally on both front and the back side. You will be all set to leave home wearing a retro, eighties inspired shirt. Fasten the waist in with a belt and wear a good inner to capitalize on the bare shouldered effect.

4. Cropped

If you’ve got the abs to be a smash hit, you may perhaps want to experiment with a retro wide fitting cropped look. Wear the t-shirt and put a mark where you’d want it to settle once you’ve trimmed it. Ensure that you cut neatly and in a straight line, and don’t leave the room until you sew a simple hem.
