Fall in love with yourself, this Women’s Day

Styletag wishes happy women’s day to all the lovely ladies out there.

IT’S never really an easy task to completely love yourself. Truly madly, deeply. Well, we have our families to love, our friends, our relatives and our jobs. And if you are a woman above 35, no doubt your children command an incredible amount of your time. How do you then, make any time for yourself, your health and your inner peace?

As a friend, I thought I did more than okay. I care about my buddies, believe in democratic dealings at work place and also remember to write a birthday note for my best chums. If I loved the world, I would most definitely love myself too, eh? And yet, I had to receive the greatest lesson of loving myself truly, madly, deeply from my friend – a cancer-survivor – who was herself coming to terms with the most essential gift of nature to women-kind – to put our trust in ourselves, our bodies and love ourselves with reckless abandon.

One step higher and one step taller!

Styletag brings to you latest collection of footwear.

AS we grow, we groom!  Between the ages of 15-23, we girls not only make big decisions about our college majors but it’s also that time to find our fashion footings.  Putting together an outfit for that first day at college or for that first interview is never an easy task.  We the millennial generation prefer something affordable yet fashionable.

Like yin and yang we can wear 6 inch tall heels or comfortable everyday flats. It’s that time when you feel you can pull off any piece of clothing or accessory; so experiment, follow your style icons. The journey from the college ‘jholla’ to the classy structured tote is also akin to the journey from being a girl to being a woman.

How To Go Perfect With Pastels

Styletag presents new spring-summer collection.

NOW that summer’s almost here, can pastels be far behind! It’s a personal favorite and I simply can’t seem to look beyond the soothing and luscious effects it has on my style senses. From watermelon reds to powder blues, mellow yellows to pistachio greens, the colors offer themselves as good ingredients for that perfect work wear or for a dress to wear on a date.

The spring-summer runways were flooded with the sweet swirl of the pastels. Alberta Ferretti showed extremely modern silhouettes in colors of the seas and the sky; Burberry opted for faded yellows while Manish Malhotra added drama to his exquisite craftsmanship with a hint of sparkle on his creations.

Go Classic in Black and White This Spring-Summer

Styletag offers classy designs this spring-summer.

NOW, here is one trend that’s not going anywhere out the window for some time now. After all, monochrome has been the hottest trend on and off the runway for back-to-back seasons now. The runways, both showcasing spring-summer and autumn-winter trends, have been dotted with the classic colors of black and white.

Dolce & Gabbana showed an entire collection at Milan Fashion Week, dedicated to young mothers of the world. As part of their collection were several gorgeous outfits, in classic black and noir and figure-flattering silhouettes. Emilio Pucci did city slick, while Celine showed some office-wear worthy pieces with well-tailored culottes and structured tops.
